The story is told by Jean Louis Finch. She is a daugter to Attticus Finch. He is a lawyer for Maycomb court house. She also has a brother Jem Finch. This story is told from Scout as she recalled the past of her childhood. the story is in first person. Which can be stratford and have twist and turn. so far I am loving this book. The book takes place in the 1920's. The other charectors are dill , calpernes, Mrs. Radly, Ms. Radly, Boo Radly. These charector play a main role in this story.
2. When i was 5 and when we went to Hilton Head. With my mom's side of family. My mom is one of 13 kids. So it was big group of people. So when i look back on it. I had fun but it was strange for me to see people that i did not know. Know that i know then so it is not strange. So now as I am old I look back and wonder what i was thinking. This place is an island off of the cost of South carolina. My family goes their once ever 5 years.

1. Jean louis finch, scout, is telling this story in her older years she is looking back on the trial of tom robinson. she says this story of first person view as she saw it. i think readers will se this as a six year old would see this serious adult situation. this will help the readers delve more into the story with wonder on how a child would react to such an event. you can tell this book will use the children for comic relief as this book is serious about the trials they will have the children do things afterwards to be funny and relieve the tension from the previous moment.
2. i don't recall any memories to use i know i usually look at some movies different later on but that would be all i can think of

In the book "To Kill A Mockingbird" Scout is the narrator of the story. Her real name is Jean Louis Finch. Scout is the daughter of Jeremy Atticus Finch and has a brother Jem Finch. The book is narrated in 1st person. This story is looking back in the past of Scout when she was six. Since she is an adult now she is telling us the story from when she a young child. When the book is being told in first person you only get to hear one person's point of view. Considering it's in Scout's point of view we will read and see things the way she did.
When I was younger I remember every time my brother would watch me he would make me do his chores. I would have to clean up after him, do the dishes, sweep the floor, and more. Whenever my mom or dad would come home and I was doing one of his chores he would always finish and tell me to go play or watch TV just so he wouldn't get in trouble. I realize now that he treated me like a slave more than a sister. When this happened I just thought I was doing something good, but now I know my brother was using me. Even though he made me do his responsibilities I forgive him for it.

1. To kill a mockingbird is narrated by Jean Louis Finch looking back on her life to when she was a little girl who people called Scout. It is in the first person, as Scout. I think that having the story told in the first person makes the readers feel as if they are there themselves, feeling and experiencing the same things as the narrator. I think it will be interesting the way the book is narrated since it is being told as everything already has happened. It seems like it will be a mix of the more knowledgeable voice that Jean Louis Finch now has, and the thoughts and feelings of her younger self. I think that having the story being told by a young girl growing up in the south, readers will feel as though they are really connecting with their younger selves again, just as Jean Louis Finch does throughout telling her story. It might also be very educational in showing how people living in the south acted back in the 30's.
2. I have two younger siblings, one sister two years younger than me, and one brother 5 years younger than me. When I was younger, having a 5 year gap between my brother, I often got jealous of him because he was the youngest, and it seemed to me that he got special treatment. I would see him doing things and getting away with things that I, a ten year old at the time he was a five year old, would't be able to do. I didn't think it was fair when he got to do things that i couldn't, or when I got in trouble for things that he never got in trouble for. Looking back on it now, it was completely fair the way both of us were raised and treated. It is reasonable for my parents to have had higher expectations for me than my brother who was five years younger than me. I know now that we were both treated the same way when we were the same age, but at that time, I didn't understand that.

The narrator of To Kill a Mockingbird is Scout. This book is written in 1st person. I also agree, I think dramatic irony is hard to put in the story with first person. Right now, in the 1st chapter, it’s a bit confusing. She talks about a bunch of different topics and story’s. In addition, I feel it wanders around too much. What I mean by this is, it says, “my brothers arm” and “the men had to stay on Simon’s homestead”. Also, how “Simon died rich”. I think this is too much to put in without relating to the topic of blacks and whites. It doesn’t having meaning to the story.
One time, when I was real little, I told someone that they smell. At the time of course, I didn’t think it was rude. Now, I see it a lot differently. I know that it is rude to say comments like that to people’s faces. It has shaped my thinking, because now I try to think about what I’m going to say, before I say. I also try to make sure I don’t hurt someone’s feelings but what I say to someone. 3) n/a 4) I found the first couple of pages confusing. 5) Appearance vs. innocence. I chose this because people judge the Radley's before the even know them, and depict them as bad, scary, and weird people. 6) Characterization: is the process by which the writer reveals the personality of a character. They are introducing the new characters.

1. This story is narrated by Jean "Scout" Louis Finch. The point of view is first person. Scout tells the story when she is older but is recalling her childhood. The story mostly has the same main characters in it, as they are all of the people Scout knows. Surely the story will be interesting and suspenseful because already we see the narrator tell the story like this in the first chapter. It will be told the way Scout saw the events. Understanding the way Scout narrated the book is one thing I found confusing. The theme appearance vs. reality is seen when Scout and Jem first meet Dill and they think he is younger than he actually is. "Maycomb, some twenty miles east of Finch's Landing, was the country seat of Maycomb county"(5). This is when the setting of the story is told. 2. My family travels to a resort in a small town in Minnesota every year for vacation. My family’s favorite water sport is water skiing. When I was little I always tried to water ski but never could get up out of the water. My dad always told me to keep trying and to not give up. I soon became tired of trying and would not water ski for many years. However, these past few years I have begun trying to water ski once a week while we were in Minnesota. This year I finally got up out of the water and was able to water ski. I realize now that I should've listened to my dad during all those years he encouraged me to keep trying. He never stopped encouraging me, even when I had given up. Since then I have listened to my dad more when he encourages me, especially during my sports games.

The story "To Kill a Mockingbird" is narrated by a young girl called scout, but her real name is Jean Louis Finch. Scout tells the story in first person point of view. Scout lives in the small town of Maycomb, inside of Maycomb County. Scout comes from a small family of 3 people, and their cook, Calpurnia, she has one brother and her father, Atticus. Because the story is told in first person, it makes it harder to keep track of people, but, in some aspects, also makes it easier. Because the story is told in first person, it makes it easier to understand Scout's emotions, but it makes it harder to understand the emotions that other characters are feeling, unless scout tells you what they may be/are feeling.
2) Other than the things i couldn't (and sometimes still can't) help, I haven't really ever had an exxperience like the on asked about, but I may eventually have an answer to the question.

Scout is the main character from the book. She seems to be a very interesting. Scout's real name is Jean Louise Finch. Scout is a tomboy and the story is told by her many years later when she has developed a better idea on the world and a better idea of what exactly was going on when the story took place. The story starts out with her talking about when her brother Jem broke his arm a few years after the story took place and it reminds me kind of how Shakespeare started Romeo and Juliet with a prologue that grabs your attention.
